QUESTION- We are really curious about what you did for Christmas?
ANSWER- "My brother was out for the holidays from his mandatory army service, so my family all met up and spent time together. We haven't been together in a long time so it was really nice. We ate out, and even watched some dvds while we were together."
Q-Looking back in the year 2006 what was the most fun-joyful memory? Emotionally touching? Something you wish you could of done?
A- "It would probably have to be in April when I attended the Cannes Film festival. I met with worldknown stars on the red carpet so I would have to say that was the most joyful memory. I wish I could of greeted my Korean fans more often.
I was the most nervous when I greeted the fans during the MKMF KMNET Music Festival. You don't know how badly i was shaking." (she introduced the japanese group Wings and translated for them ^^)
Q- Your Activites in Korea were infrequent in 2006. Was there any special reason? We think you would have wanted to do many things in korea.
A-"I took a break from Korean activities thinking that acting will be a new challenge for me to take in. After debuting, I didn't get to rest/take a break for 5 years inbetween all the albums I put out. I want to make a better album and its hard. Im thinking of showing everyone a more deep, broad side, and also show growth in my music. Please be expecting it!"
Q- Lately in your CF's, people have been saying you have gotten more sexier. WHat do you think about that?
A-"When ever I hear that I'm sexy I think 'Really??' I think it the term 'sexy' will always be a bit awkward to me. [according to the reporter that read the email response she wrote .. '??? {which is like 'hehe'} at the end.] ^___^
Q-You adjusted-used to living in Japan, but you must miss home. When do you most miss Korea?
A-"I always want to go-.. is my answer. Whenever I call my family and friends I miss them more. A few days ago I caught a cold.. whenever Im sick the only thing I think about is going back to Korea."
Q-It is said that when you go to a foreign nation you feel more patriotic (pride in one's country). When do you feel most patriotic?
A-"When I see Korean celebrites getting love and support.???. (hehehe)"
Q- Special plans in 2007?
A-"In Japan on the 17th my 5th album will be released. From March I'll be on a Arena Tour all over Japan. Of course I'll be showing my home country a new album and some acting plans."
Q-We were notified that you will be debuting as an actress. Have you studied a lot of acting?
A-"I can't say I've studied a lot but I can say that I'm a korean drama loving drama mania! In Japan I've been watching HwangJini and Yeon In (Lovers), without missing a single episode I go to the video store,rent them and practice. Its so much fun. ???(hehehe)."
(KBS drama HwangJini SBS drama Yeon In aka Lovers. both are pretty popular! I watch both also!)
Q- In Japan & Korea you are acknowledged and known as one of the best singers. Do you have any other plans or goals?
A-"Being Asia's best. Becoming the world's best singer. (laughs)."
Q- Do you have any plans to study more?
A- "Lately I've been studying english. One of my friends speak english really well so whenever we talk, we talk in english."
Q- If you picture yourself in 10 years... what do you picture yourself doing?
A- Even after 10 years I think I'll be on stage performing and singing. When I'm middle-aged.. ??? (hehehe), I think I'll be on stage singing.???? (HaHaHaHa)."
